Let's just say customer brings me a 1979 oldsmobile toronado with a 5.7L diesel and it has a fuel knock. Looking for information or parts on locating a set(8) injectors for this car.

Car has 50k miles on it and was parked in a concrete floor barn for last 30 years. Located a new tank, lines, glow plugs, and filler neck but not able to find injectors yet.

Whoever locates a set or has info on a set will more than likely get the sale due to no other sets are being found yet. I'm not positive if it's the pencil or poppet set yet but with that year it would be pencil. I will confirm that this week.

I would think that the old ones should be able to be rebuilt? Just a thought
 
If it takes that I can do it that way.

Was lookin to just find a set and replace them so there isn't as much down time.

Have you tried rock auto?

I think the 5.7 was the same style as the 6.2/6.5, and if so, probly just needs cleaned.
