I noticed most race seat mounting brackets are flat. The floor of a dodge truck has the large hump towards the back glass. Should one just modify the brackets or is there a bracket to mount race seats on the market just for our dodge trucks?

Any photos?

Just use the stockers. They will need some slight modifications.
I did this for mounting some Kirkey seats.

Im using the stock ones too. It dosent take much to get them off

the stock brackets are easy to take off i got viper seats in my truck i will try and post some pics

Some old pics, but I too used the stock bracket on the old truck and just built off of them:

just make your own brackets . pretty simple and you can make them how high you want or where you want. here are a couple of my seats in my race truck.

Once you remove the stocker seat brackets from the stock seats- take them and bolt them back to the floor, this will give yourself ideas to mount your seating......

Is that the factory adjustable seat frame? Or is that the adjustable frame that you can buy as an option with the race seats mounts?

That was the factory frame that recieved a little 5 minute redneck ingenuity.
:hehe:

I can slide it all the way back without hitting the crossbar(not pictured)
