Radiator Drain Plug???

Can't seem to find it. The truck is an '05 F-250. If there isn't one how have some of you drained your coolant system? I am doing this because since I did the head studs and gaskets I never put coolant just water. :bang:bang:bang

Now the water looks a little rusty and thermostat keeps getting stuck. I plan on flushing the system with a solvent to clean as much as I can and definitely plan on adding a coolant filter any other suggestions would be great. Thanks in Advance. Chris

its a little petcock on the driver side of the rad.

I thought 6.0's drained the radiator via the degas bottle ? LOL

Is this valve on the bottom ( easily visible)or I have to remove a couple things to get to it and by "petcock" you mean a valve like the ones used for atv fuel?

Ha! Guess you dont have that problem any more.

yea its right on the bottom nothing to remove...its a little "L" pointing down with a black "t" handle on it
