Also meaning it could have 8 new pistons or 1, I have taken apart a Jasper reman motor with 3 different bores and 2 different size crank bearings. If you can bring it to a reputable shop that does major work and then you know what you have, with a reman from a big company granted you have warranty but you never know what you are getting.
 
I have one out of a school bus with under 100,000 I'd sell you cheap
 
Co-worker was pricing remans for his F250 and said a complete Jasper Reman 7.3 is $3500, I'm assuming that's fuel/turbo/etc.
 
I have seen things i didn't care for in jasper engines.

Not all companies that do remans are like that.
