Ready to order, can't decide which hood?

I would have to vote for the bottom one out of those three.

The top two look like like gasser hoods and remind me of that blaw, blaw, 318,360 sound when I look at them.

All the guys on another site are saying the first one, over here guys say its corny. I am leaning toward the first one too. Thanks

no, but that's just my personal taste, everone's is different :)

I've always been more of a "wolf in sheep's clothing" kind of guy. I prefer to let the vehicles performance be the main thing that sets it apart from the crowd.

I used to be into mustangs way back in the day and then I got into fairmonts because they were such great little sleepers. but I promise you the 9 sec mustang with the stock hood was a LOT more impressive than the 12 sec mustang w/ the 3" cowl hood. And the 9 sec car w/ the stock hood is more impressive than the 9 sec car w/ the 4" cowl hood, etc. etc.

ifi anything I would choose a smooth cowl hood over the ones you posted... again, just one man's often unpopular opinion! but they just have too much of a "pontiac" feel to them... just tacked on as an afterthought.

but even then, unless you're running some wild/wicked combo that REQUIRES a cowl hood, the cowl hood just seems tacky (tacked on for no reason) to me still :o

by all means, modify your vehicle to suit YOUR tastes, not the tastes of others!!!!!! if everyone had the same taste, the world would be a boring place!!! :cool:

but... you DID say "what do you think?" and I am often, as my grade school counselor put it, "abrasively opinionated" :o :p
 
every one does the srt-10 hoods now days. depends if you want to be different or have your truck look like everyone elses

I like the reflexxion cowl hoods, I think that is what I'm going to throw on mine. Not a fan of the ones you listed, if I had to choose it would be the fourth option though...
 
Ive used both GoodHoods and Reflexxions, NOTHING beats a stock hood. There just always seems to be something not 100% with the aftermarket ones. Have a body shop graft something unique onto your factory hood and be unique.
 
I really don't like the first one. It looks like something off a Duramax, no, really, it does! :hehe: I'd go with the bottom one if I just had to pick one, but I really don't want to have to pick from those three. :D

This thread is all over the place. A few guys say 1, a few guys say the reflexxion, a few guys calling me a f-g, I don't know what to do with it now. Believe me, I know opinions are like assholes & everyone's got one, but WOW! LOL.
 
Ya, with a sample from every culture on here, you won't get just one opinion. Do what makes you happy, screw all of us. :hehe: Personally, I'd spend the money on stuff that makes me go zoom, not look purty. :D
