on my 02 the rear disk brakes are hanging up from time to time, Why? I was told the rear lines are the culprit, but Dodge wants an arm & a leg for the upgraded new ones. I could have stainless braided ones made, but I would like to know for sure if that is the problem.

Are you referring to the hard lines are the problem, or the rubber lines? There is a company that makes s.s. replacement lines.http://www.egrbrakes.com/index-main.htm I have them and they work alot better. Try checking the caliper sliders and the bolts also to make sure they aren't hanging up. Could be the piston also. Here is the company that makes the s.s kit. It doesn't include the short lines to the calipers for the rear though.

the rubber lines that go to the caliper" Im told" are the ones that brake down from the inside not allowing the fluid to return. This sounded a bit far fetched to me but that came straight from 2 different Dodge dealers. They offer new replacements but they are like $600 or something crazy(ya, for two 18 inch rubber lines). Ive replaced the rear pads, so I checked the slides & they appear to be fine. I dont want to replace the lines if the calipers are the prob but they both do it ,sometimes together, sometimes seperate. :bang The calipers are like $70 so maybe Ill do the supposed lines first and if that doesnt do it then Ill do the calipers. IDK
