Not sure if this is EXtreame enough or not:hehe:
But I've got 3 questions about my 12v rebuild all parts are cummins

1--- my lower gasket kit came with 2 different kinds of cooling nozzles. Long green ones like the one's I pulled out of motor originaly, and some clearish/whitish little short ones???? clear white ones seem to have a smaller hole than green ones, but not by much..

2---the ring sets have oil wipper ring and then a shinny ring, then a black ring. does shinny ring go on top or in the middle???? Shinny and black ring both have top wrote on them. Oil wipper has nothing wrote on it.

3--- the Oil cooler and filter housing came with 3 gaskets??? One has big hole in it (goes on first aginst block), The other two look alike, pretty much solid but one has a long verticle cutout about 1/2" down twards the bottom????? The other just has round holes????? I don't remember what the one I pulled off looked like. Which one to use? both seem right when put aginst the filter housing.

On my 95 12v i used the long green nozzles they were what i took out..... On the rings the black one should be kinda a stepped ring and have a little champher that goes to the top and that should be the middle ring and the shiny one is the top ring.... the oil cooler gasket im not sure ill have to look at mine...

on the oil squiters mine used the white one that was on a 1990 motor and i had two oil cooler gaskets i used the one that fit the right way its been two years and i cant remember

I had the oil cooler blow out on my 93 cummins, when i replaced it the gasket was different then the original, i wonder if it matters?

the factory one was like the center one in the picture, the new one was like the right one in the picture.

The oil cooler/ filter plate on the right is for the low mount filter setup. These trucks should have the high mount.
