Tearing the motor all the way down what all should be done?
i need tips new at this and i need pointers please help THanks

There is a search button right up there in the top right hand corner. Youll find a lot of info.

Also it might help if you tell us what your goals are what you plan on doing with the motor.

Thats what i askin for advice sorry didnt discribe...
I just want people advice what they did and stuff I dont have a ton of time to search all the time so im just askin for advice and hoping for the best
 
do you have anything done to it so far? def. search for some ideas but the basic injectors, turbo yadda yadda would be a good start...

If thats all your wanting then, just do a basic rebuild. They sell kits for $700.

Tell me if Im wrong but, 400hp isnt anything... You can easily do that with studs, injectors, and a turbo.
 
Right now i currently have stock turbo, injectors, and NO studs!
fuel plate ground down, intake and star wheel turned up thats all!!
yeah i dont want alot of power i just wanna know what kinda stuff i gotta do for 400HP
so head studs....rebuild kit? weres a god place to buy this?
what size turbo you guys think? i dont want anything CRAZY BIG just little over stock? like a good street truck turbo!
Injectors i only wanna go stage 2 or so?
Gov. springs 3k is probably all i need? Correct?
 
i like the aurora 3000, some ddp injectors would work for you but remember your going to need to beef up your trans if your deciding to go through with this. also you can search on here for shops that will give you a discount there is an entire page on this. 3k springs should be ok

yeah trans im doing FIRST THING im going with a triple disk convertor with trangos go shift kit and just stock clutch packings with the extra O/D clutch?
but ya ddp injectors what nozzle size or codes are they? or is it just stage 2?

BtsNhos question for you? you seem to know alot whats a good street truck turbo choice??
 
i blew a turbo and i think i messed up something in the motor....just my crappy luck
and my tranny im tearing down just cause i wanna go faster so ima mildly build it hahahaha

and the (S300G) if thats a turbo what kinda boost would it make ?

i wouldnt run anything to crazy injector wise, stage 2 would be fine, remember 400hp is not alot of hp by any means. you can get that with injectors and a solid turbo. like i said i like the aurora 3000, other guys on here have other opinions, its a solid turbo and can be used for street or tow. another one i like alot is an hx35, i think you should build your tranny up, throw a turbo and some injectors on and go from there.
 
Yeah couple people told me to do that same thing!! build the trans, then throw a good turbo and injectors on there then go from there... what kinda boost numbers would a aurora 3000 and the hx35
 
400 hp on a stock motor is not hard to get, just a little toasty. Keep the charger as small as possible.
 
Dont worry about how much boost you make.... Just slap on a s300 (wastegated) a small set of injectors and be done with it.

Buddy of mine just put down 500 with a s300 and small set of nozzles on a bone stock 24v.
 
holsky--What kinda number would i roughtly put down with s300 turbo 50-90HP injectors with fuel plate out exhaust and intake?? mabey little star wheel turned up
