Receiver hitch questions

So I screwed up at the pull this weekend and got assholed by the Magnum sled (irony) pretty hard. Split my hitch. My truck is a 99, will a hitch off any 94-02 work? Or off a newer truck? Looking to find a used one locally that will bolt up without modification. Also what to use for hardware as far as grade?

I bought this one years ago and it says it fits but I'm not sure about the stock ones, I did have it on a 97 2500 and a 87 F250.

i got a stock reciever off a 94 to put on my 99 and i had to cut out the center bolt holes a little where it bolted to the frame and it bolted right up
