redline and adrenline?

I am suppose to figure this out for my old man (he is campin at the fair). Today at the pulls he ran the redline for the first time, didn't go so well...
So someone told him to stack his adrenaline back on to advance timing. So we hooked it back up lvl8 on adrenline, and 40% fuel on the redline. Not sure what happened to it but there was no smoke and his truck didnt turn much over 2000rpms, Is it even possible to stack these chips? If so whats a good lvl for both. 125+inj from area diesel. turbo is a 64 not sure which turbo

o and on the first run he had redline set at 95% kinda put the fire out!

Any advice would be great, we are pulling again tomorrow!
 
ha really no one knows well i better keep doing my research just kinda figured someone could tell me quick PSCJSlakdjf is ok ill find it......
 
I pull with that stack. I sure hope he isn't trying to run that stack with both boxes tapping the pump? I'll gladly try to help you out.
 
that would be sweet! I just got your pm if you can tell me how to hook it up i can relay it tomorrow when i get there not sure if he hooked them both up i wanna say maybe....
 
Tell him to unhook the Adrenaline from the pump. Only the redline should tap the pump. With 125hp injectors, I would turn the Redline to 93%, put Adrenaline on PL02 with timing 10* & fuel stretch maxed out. Tell him to watch the tach readout on the redline box, not his factory tach. Slowly rev the engine till the tach reads 4k rpm [or 4100 if it will hold], then slowly release the clutch.

He asked me about the map sensor or tps do you hook both chips to both if so what order? He doesnt have the big display screen for the adrenaline its just the one with 3 buttons and a little screen, can you change those settings without the big screen?

I have mine hooked to the map [Adrenaline first, then Redline]. Nope, without the pulse, you can't change settings. What tune is he running Adrenaline?
 
sorry i got caught up reading i loaded it for him it was the one they prefer for sled pulling really aggresive think it was by all the beta tunes and what not
 
That tune should work fine. Just tell him to do what I told him in the above post & he will be fine. If you have any more questions, give me a call. I'll be on the golf course till 4:00.
 
He got 2nd in both class's. He ran 80% fuel. And level 10 on the adrenaline. We toyed around with it and it ran best with adrenaline all the way up. And the Red line turned down a little. I still think it was running better and the turbo was lighting better with just the adrenaline. He is planning on toying with it soon
 
I run my redline around 50% but i run with a powerpuck, and it seems to be pretty competitive! If your dad has $100 lyin around tell him to pick up a powerpuck and try that, that way he can sell the adrenaline and pocket $300

I also had the adrenaline stacked with the redline but really didnt see the point of having a $600 dollar box just to have an extra 50HP!
