Helping a friend try to figure out his redline issues.
Truck is a 98.5 5spd
With the redline (normal and unlimited box does the same), it will rev up until 38xx rpm and then the redline will time out. It kept happening last year and if he was going down the track he could turn the fuel back on but it would turn off again.
We changed to a new battery, changed the way we power up the redline, changed the tps, changed the redline, and it does the exact same thing within 100rpm every time.
Hopefully we are missing something obvious?
