Any ideas on how to reduce my EGT's besides what I have done already? I've seen upwards of 1400* with the pyro mounted between cylinders #5 and #6.

The fun don't start till 1600...I wouldn't bat an eyelash at 1400.

If you wanna get it down...more air or more cooling. I.E. a bigger turbo, better intercooler or water injection.
I'd call Joe Hellmann for an intercooler if I was you.

With 275's and a smarty and a 62/12 I can barely hit 1000*. LOL

I'm thinking about downgrading from this 64/71/13 to a 62. The turbo just doesn't like to lite anywhere near as soon as I'd like it to. It takes off once it lites. But I don't like having to stomp on the throttle to get it to that point. And I don't drive around in high enough RPM's to keep it spooled. I'm sure in an auto it'd do fine. Or a 24 valve application.

Sorry a little sidetracked. But atleast if you go the turbo route, there's some input :blahblah1:

I just installed an Hx 40 with my fuel I thought I would see a drastic reduction in egts but have not,do you think it's the crappy K&n filter drop in in the stocker hausing that is the restriction? It popped the filter minder button with a perfectly clean eliment??
