regulated return question

Doing a regulated return on my truck this week. Should my injector return be tee'd before or after my regulator? I think it needs to go after and return straight to tank. Tried google but powerstroke stuff is about all that comes up.

I would say after. Even factory the overflow valve holds the case pressure in the pump and the injector return line is unrestricted return flow back to the tank.

Either should work, but after would be better IMO. That way you are returning more hot fuel to the tank.

The stock injector return went back into the filter head IIRC.

Yeah stock goes back to the filter. Ill just tee it after the regulator.
