anybody running a remote mount breather of some type on their 24 valves? i wanna get rid of that catch jug on the front of the motor. im not even sure if thats a breather on the front or not but i want a better setup. i cant just run the tube to the ground because i drag race alot and the track officials frown on leaking oil on to the track. was looking at those moroso and jaz breathers.

....run a cheap Vatozone small block breather....but hook it into the downpipe. Just dont run a filter stuck into the oil fill port, that just throws oil all over the motor!

not always faker. ive seen a couple guys say they have had luck running that set up then other guys like you and mark who didnt. so i dunno. before i drop too much time and money in a breather id just go get a small filter to thread into the oil fill in the valve cover and see how that works for ya jesse.

Mine isnt too bad, but I have a flat black valve cover. It all depends on what filter you get, and getting the baffeles just right is the hard part!

I'll have to get pics of mine. I ran a threaded 1" fitting in my valvecover which has a hose running down into the frame. I'm going to put a "y' in the hose & route them into my rocker panels [rust prevention]

I run the same setup on my truck. I bought the exact same aluminum canister with breather (morroso brand) minus the peak sticker of course but I only paid $70 for the canister with breather and drain valve and about $10 for some goodyear hose.

That's what came to mind when I saw it.

anyone try this......

Racor ccv6000. google it. You can vent to atmosphere or return to engine. I have 2 new ones if anyone wants one. $200 shipped.

thats what im wanting to do. although i like the drain valve on the jaz breather better. looks less messy

something like this? -12an that screws into the front cover just like factory over to the tank that fit in between the washer bottle and battery perfectly.
