removing exhaust

Use a long extension and go after the turbo flange bolts from the underside... Spray all the rubber hangers with wd40 too. makes it easier to pull the old exhaust off.

hook the tailpipe to the garage or a buddies truck. Use a long cable so you can get some speed, and hit it! It like pulling a tooth with a string... it'll make some funny noises and then wala... :badidea:

that was my initial idea, whats rong with that?:D

If you cut the pipe in half once the downpipe turns flat and goes back, you should be able to weasle the whole kit-n-kabootal out of there in two pieces IIRC. Put a jack under the reciever hitch and remove your spare tire. This give you room to crawl and spaces your axle from the frame so you can get the saddle out easier. $.02

i get to use my uncle lift this weekend so that will make it easier. IIRC???? whats that, and no staxs for me, atleast not yet

[QUOTE been a year since I pulled my junk.[/QUOTE]

did you read that first

Sawzalls are awesome, get yourself the porter cable saw where the head rotates a million and 1 ways, you can get that saw just about anywhere, its amazing.

The torch idea is good too though, you don't really have anything that makes your truck burn down on that side, so go for it, and just don't cut your frame. Its really pretty easy to get the exhaust out on one of these trucks.

Sawzall or a good hacksaw and you can have the old one out in about 15 minutes.
