any body know the ohms of the sending unit at full and empty? i am gathering gauges to replace all mine and need to know which range of fuel gauge i need to get. autometer sells a 0-90ohm and a 240-33ohm unit. Or another question has any body ran an aftermarket fuel level gauge in the stock tank? what gauge did you use and sending unit? thanks in advance. j

dunno about these trucks but i do know all the older chryslers had 70-10 ohm senders and GM and ford were the 0-90 ohms... usually the autometer or other aftermarket gauges are set up for the 0-90. (you have a wider selection of what gauges you can use with the 0-90) if you go with an aftermarket sender.

According to my 1994 shop manual, EMPTY should read 97 ohms, 1/2 FULL should read 32.5 ohms, and FULL should read 9 ohms. Readings are + or - 2.5%
