My setup was exactly the same other than the scale at Union Grove allowed me to have almost 200# more weight on the truck. I even shifted at the same RPM and ran close to the same air pressure. I think the track was just better at Union Grove.

Better for an Allison, and a fast reving, low torque V-8, yes.
