resurfacing question

I took .007 off my 12valve head and reccesed the valves .007 or so and am running .007 thicker injector sealing washers to keep the fuel spraying in the same place in the bowl.... You can pretty much take off as much as needed to flatten the head out jus make sure you reccess your valves or use a thicker gasket.... if your doing both block and head i would find out the compressed thickess of the thicker headgasket you plan on running and divide that in half and take half off the head and half off the block (if that will flatten both surfaces)
