RSV Governor + Auto trans.

Anyone ever ran an Ag gov. pump with an auto trans? Just curious how it would work. Seems like things could get a little hairy when running one with an auto trans. Doesn't seem like I hear of many auto trucks running them. Discuss...

It has been done, the guy that I knew doing it, had some issues getting the charger lit.

yes it works but you need a very light foot to spool a decent sized charger there is just alot of fuel very fast with one.

the rsv gov on jd engines has an afc factory, I dont know why you couldnt keep an afc on the rsv for use on autos.

that would pass 90% of the stock appearing pump classes out there LOL since most half retarded gasser tech guys only know enough to look for afc .

I have also thought about this myself but have never heard of the auto tranny and rsv combo.
