I am doing the basics right now, ladder bars and hitch work on my dodge. But whose rules are easiest to follow and would adapt if i want to pull someone elses event?
HSTPA doesn't have a diesel truck class do they? ITPA would be the most local competitive pulls, but your running with a few of the top trucks in the nation. ITPA runs a 2.8 bushed charger with a maximum OD of the compressor housing. Basically an s400 or gt4202 works for that class. All safety equipment.
To run association events you'll have to make sure that you have all of the proper safety equipment in place (a lot of the brush pulls aren't as strict on this)
i wouldnt waste your time with michidoh if you read the rules its a joke the stk class and hot class are governed at the same rpm a buddy of mine wrote the rules and its a joke they only have a few diesel pulls that are local to indiana anyways so i wouldnt build your truck to their rules just my 2 cents
A few of us Michigan boys went to a Michdoh pull late last year when we didn't have anything going up here. Nice group of guys but not real big on rules.
