Well my Fass150 should be here tomorrow, that takes care of that problem. A few of my buddy's have modded D-maxes and just wondering what it will take to run with then(if I can't already) Just programmers and stuff is all they have, but still those things are pretty fast. My JVD box should work after I get some fuel pressure to that PO'ed VP44, so that should be a pretty good stack. Otherwise I'll just get an ADR or something. What do yall think is that enough to compete yet? I know i need a bigger charger, so I'm really considering the *nx*

stock tranny looking at ~14.0 1/4 mile any faster the start limping

looking round 350-375rwhp with a stock tranny dmax

If you get an ADR or a comp box your going to need a bigger turbo to take advantage of the increased fuel. Heck you need a bigger turbo to burn the fuel you have now.

id say sell the smarty and haisley box and get the adr.......i had drag comp/smarty and i like the adr a lot better.....i doubt youll ever be faster than the moded dmax's on the street.....that big(i know not that big) inline 6 is made for towing not going fast......now throw a trailer behind it and hit some hills then see whos fast.

if you sell the set up you have now and get buy the adr you should have a little money left over to put twords a charger.....or better sticks

i hate efi live, i get that thrown at me all the time from one of my friends with an lb7, "fully modded truck versus my efi live"...grrr

......now throw a trailer behind it and hit some hills then see whos fast.

This is bullcrap also. the dmax would still win. Dmax and dodge have about the same torque curve. so there torque is going to come on around the same time. They are both going to steady have a pull to them. U must be trying to compare it with a ford powerstroke that would deffantly get smoked.

And im not saying the duramax is going to walk away from the cummins climbing a hill or mountain or anything like that. But i am saying they will hold side by side

I cannot keep up with them mabey someone else can :bang.

what are you trying to do keep up pulling or drag racing?

Both, and on the dyno. Is the ADR worth the money, bugs worked out yet? Will nitrous help much or just save the cash for a bigger turbo? After I get the fass on I am going to build my own water/meth system, but that won't make it much faster. I guess a good question then would be whats it take to get me into the 13's?

:spam2:Funny thing about towing, yall will laugh but in the latest diesel power challenge(I know, but still) the winner of the towing test was a cummins(shocker) followed by a 6.0L:ford:!!!:woohoo::rockwoot::rockwoot:HAHA over all the D-maxes!:shake:::hehe::hehe:(BTW there were more D-maxes than fords or dodges, just a fun factLOL)Didn't see that coming I still can't believe it!:blahblah1: But whatever anyway whats it take to get my 24v in the 13's?

IMO I would have kept the JVD and stacked it with the Smarty.

The ADR wont get you much more than what you already had with the stack.

I would have but the JVD is fried, I tried it again ran all new wires and the thing is junk, totally sparatic. So I got the ADR.

My old 12 sec setup

4 years ago my truck would run 12.90's on fuel 12.10's nitrous with this combo:

Edge drag comp, Diesel Dynamics jammer 5's, Bell USB turbo 62, Suncoast trans, 6" exhaust.

I hope this helps.

If you put Scheids injectors in this setup it would be a little faster.
