s4 s400 s475?

Im finally setting my truck up to run a big single for next season but Im unsure on how to go about buying one. Up at haisley machine the s4 is like 2400 dollars. At scheid the s4 is 1700 dollars. Does anyone know the differences between a detroit series 60 s400 and what they call an s4 and sell for three and four times as much. Also does anyone know anything about the garrett 4202. As there is one on a forum and I dont remember which one ,it might be this one, for sale. One more question where do I buy a t6 adaptor so I can run it on my stock exhaust manifold?

What kind of power are you looking for? An S4 is a big unit.
 
The GT4202R is roughly $2500 and can be had in both T4 and T6 config.

T6 only makes sense if you have T6 sized plumbing, or you are just decompressing and recompressing the gases for no reason. T4 is really about as big as you should need.
