S400SO57

I think I'm reading this right, this is a s400 with a 57 mm compressor wheel. It's on evilbay, a john deere part number. Anyone break this part number down.

no, your not reading it right. the part number is s400s057, and that nuber doesnt cross to compressor size. my s464 is s400s009

It looks like it's in the 50's if you look at the tape beside it. It's just a hair over 2 inches just putting the bad eye on it.

Sure doesn't look like an 80mm wheel, look at the pics. much smaller

I didn't look at the pictures, just a quick example of a BW #, if you find a similar # I may be able to help, sorry for any confusion

Using the pic from ebay (and using paint to move his tape measure over a little) , it just looks to me like it's close to a 60mm wheel, not a 71?

What do you think?

where did you get this info? im looking at a s400s-009 but cant get specs on it.

thats the turbo i run.

High-flow S400 model, with compressor flow over 64 lb/min. Will service 600+HP.

Wheel Dimensions:
Compressor: 63.5 mm inducer, 91.4mm exducer.
Turbine: 83.5mm inducer, 74mm exducer.

Housing A/R:
Compressor .63, with 5.0" hose-type inlet, and 4.0" hose-type discharge.
Turbine: 1.10, with 'divided' volute, featuring 'T6-style' turbine inlet flange (4.438"x2.75"), and quick-release v-band discharge flange. Cast in ductile iron.

 I didn't even look, I saw an email and just replied.:lolly:

I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it

i think mine was around $550 shipped from BW then another $200 for the .90 housing, and will be another $500 to get the ETT 68mm wheel and race cover put on.
