s480 boost psi

[bad 2.6 puller]

ok s480 2.8 race cover cast wheel with 92/87 with 1.25 ar t4 going down the track at 4200rpm
it makes 50psi and the truck does not seem to really come to life is that good or to low on boost

I'm pretty sure that is going to be dependant on a lot of variables. I know a buddy of mine last year rana S475 and it did 45PSI.

Boost just measures resistance. Is the head ported? Bigger manifold? Aftermarket intercooler. 50lbs is about right If the head and stuff is done

what was your drive reading with the bigger turbine housing? Does your cover have a MWE groove?
