99 24v automatic 108K STOCK, only 150WHP/300 torque
Pulled like every other diesel I've dyno'd.
Normal? 30% drivetrain loss seems like a lot.

Mustang MD1100 30" roll eddy current load cell.
So yes, checked the loadcell calibration right before the run.
FWIW our stock 97PSD makes 207/421.

Thats a SO 235 hp engine with an auto behind it. Sounds about right. My 01 ho stock 6 speed only made 180 ish

you would be suprised at what a small timing box (accel or bully do torque dog, ts mvp) and more boost (35+ psi) will do. easy 250 and nearly 600 lb/ft.

oh yeah, and retorque headbolts and tighten up valve lash to tight side of stock specs

Welcome to VP 44 trucks???

I have an Edge juice with attitude cs on the way...
Just under impressed with stock numbers, made me chuckle a bit.

I was wondering if I should have tried a 4th gear pull... but ran out of time tonight.
Its still on the drums maybe I'll do a 4th gear run tomorrow.

If I'm reading it right, and a stock '97 7.3L did 207/421...then it's a friendly dyno, if anything.

Tired VP? Tired lift pump maybe? Trans related? We saw 195 hp on a Mustang with our stock '02 Dodge. Five-speed though.

key word is 5-speed...

The edge box show me more of whats going on if anything is really amiss or its just the weakest 24v CTD ever offered...

how about it adds timing and pulse width... im talking about a edge comp.

I was referring to all the monitors in the attitude section... lift pressure, egt , boost , etc. It did make dp as I installed a dp gauge... like 25-30 iirc.

I cannot remember if that truck will lock the converter in 3rd or not, but if it did not lock the converter you can loose a good bit right there, like 10-15%.
