I have been working on a 2001 dodge cummins latley we have some custom made DDP injectors Industrail 72mm turbo and all the goodys. The vp44 died last night money is no bigge. Should i order a sceuid inline pump or p7100??



Whats ups and downs to both
 
The p7100 is a inline pump and it depends on how much money you want to spend converting it to a p pump will cost a good bit maybe someone that has converted one will chime in, or you could get a hot rod vp44 and save some cash.
 
make sure you put a fass or airdog SYSTEM not just a pump on it if you put a vp44 or hotrod vp44 back on it.
 
It does cost a lot more to do a conversion but It is worth it for a sled pulling truck! I like mine and as soon as I get it set up perfectly Ill be throwing it on a track!
 
It's not really a bolt on kit, there's alot of fab work that will go into a p-pump conversion. Kurt, you may want to search this forum for 'p-pump conversion'. You'll basically tear the engine down and rebuild it doing the conversion.
 
There's so much more to it then just bolting on a p-pump. How big does he want to go? Will it be street driven at all?
