Same as an SO VP44 with a fueling box. Nothing special! Get an SO and Edge Comp or something similar and you'll be better off.

The Scheid pumps have a bosch tag below the fuel inlet and return lines that have the part number and also say hot.Can someone tell me whos hrvp44 i have? On the top two bolts there is orange paint and the bottom two dont have any. I was told II hrvps have one bolt painted blueish purple. A year ago when i bought this truck it had this hrvp just installed and i didnt think to ask whos it was but made me think when i was told that if it doesnt have purple paint on one of the bolts its not a II hrvp. So does that mean its a Scheid pump. Thanks i was just curious.

Granted my truck isn't the best at dynoing good numbers but the HRVP I ran and the SO pump I ran made the same power so I'm definitely not a HRVP fan. And I tried different injectors, connector tubes, different pop off's, it didn't matter. It loped and that's all there was to it.
Mudn 1, I would expect you to make more boost and make more power with the box on than off and have the boost come in sooner. Your adding fuel and timing which decreases spool up time.
Meaning a comp box and HRVP will dyno the same as a comp box and an SO pump assuming both pumps are in good condition. I think most people that run a HRVP say it makes more power than their last pump cause they are going from a bad pump to a brand new one. Sorry for the confusion.
