This is a Scheid 20000 turbo which is based off of a gt42. It is a 3.0 inlet with a Scheid 231 exhaust housing with a T-3 flange. Scheid wont say what the a/r is of the exhaust housing, but I'd guess it's around a 1.1 This turbo was only used for 5 pulls last year. It is pictured with the 3.0 bushing, the 2.8 is in the other picture. $1000

I think the 2.31 is smaller than a 1.1. I would compare it to a .90 or a 1.0. Just from my experience. Especially since the GT42 turbine wheel flows a little better than the s400.

If it is a .90 or at least less than 1.0....Then I would be interested. Also do want a II 66 on trade or not?
Thanks!

I know the housing is a 18cm. I did a little research last night and below is what I found. This housing should be a 1.00 a/r. zstroken was right. I don't really need a 66 on trade. Thanks though.

9cm^2 - .48 A/R
12cm^2 - .63 A/R
16cm^2 - .83 A/R
18cm^2 - 1.00 A/R
22cm^2 - 1.15 A/R

Will my vp truck keep this lit on the big end on the pulling track

When I ran one on a 12V with a ported head and street cam, below 3200 it would snuff. I had the 2.8 version though.

So u saying on a vp it's going to stuff since it won't turn the Rs even no the trq range is diff

I ran this in my CR and I ran down the track 3000 - 3400. It only snuffed once on me because I got below 2500. We had one with a bigger exhaust housing on a 12v that we put on an engine dyno that made peak HP at 2800. I personally don't think you'd have a problem running this in a good VP truck.

Ok well I got a charger that's supost to b sold tomorrow if it sell Im going to c if I can't try and get it

Not saying that, just giving you my experience with it.
Friend ran one just like this on his VP with just a hotrod, reline, street cam, DDP comp injectors. If you can get your truck to fuel to 4000 it would probably be ok. The stick trucks seem to do better than the autos also. Being you can bring the truck out of the hole at 4000+. When mine would shift sometimes it would struggle to come back.

You wont have any problem keeping it lit ona vp if you got a redline and stick. Its wat im running and love it. Jus get it to 3900-4150, letr slip till 40psi and side step the bad boy. well that is if you run a gear that you can hold r's down the track.....she like 3500 and up sooo 3rd low at 3500 or better will kick 2nd high at 3000.....jus my input....p.s. why so cheap??? them things 2.5xs dat new..???

Oh and make sure you put a spacer in between the bushing...ESPECiAlly the 2.6. Other wise your fins will rub down the track.

when this ones sold i have one as well. 1 season on it. 305 housing, which is the middle one they sell.

Thanks for your input. It's cheap because I don't want it for sale for months haggling with guys on price. Just put bottom dollar on it and sell it. Yes, they are listed on Scheid's web site for $2562.00
