scotty air intake

I'm running one and I love it. Absolutely love it. Sadly scotty shut the company down and he hasn't been making them for a couple of years so finding one is a rarity. If you can grab one up I recommend it. I dropped 150* with mine over a BHAF.

I just found one :rockwoot: A little bird told me that Diesel Performance Products is in the middle of trying to purchase the molds from Scotty for these intakes, so there will be a come back, just a matter of time right now.

That would be great cause these things work amazing and they make the turbo sound so sweet.

The big thing with the Scotty is that it allowed for a hole to be cut in the firewall, right?

Yup. 4.5" hole in the windshield cowling. That's where the major EGT drop comes from and the cool noise.

anybody got a pic of this. i have heard a lot about it, sounds like i might spend even more money:bang

I'll get some of mine up later. The hole is self explanatory when you mount the scotty in there. You peel back a section of the insulation and you drill the hole. It can get annoying on long trips if your pulling a trailer but I don't pull trailers so I don't think it's to bad.

Me too I've got one with no complaints at all. Just make sure you put the silencer ring back in or the noise will drive you slap azz nuts.

I love mine. I have a 71mm S400 on my truck right now, and the sound is sooooo sweet.

I'll bet it does...:D

If you don't like the noise on long trips, find something to stick in the hole;)

Also, a 4" taillight grommet makes the hole look a lot cleaner;);)
