wanting to do a seat swap. have a cherry set of power seats from a 3rd gen. anting to install in my 95. wondering if anyone has tried this will the seat bases change??

How you gonna do the seat belts. aren't they in the seats on the second gen?

If I remember, your second gen seats have a frame that runs parallel to the floor and all eight bolts (four per side) bolt directly through the floor vertically.
The third gen seats have two vertical mounts in the front that are perpendicular to the floor and two horizontal mounts in the back that are parallel with the floor. You're going to have to cut and fab up an adapter of some sort without drilling new holes in the body. The adapter wouldn't be that complex, just some flat bar. Let me know if you need some ideas.

FYI, the 4th gen seats are much more cumfy than those 3rd gen ones.

Quad cab 3rd gen belts are in body not door. And was wondering if the lower frame from the seats was removable?

I just did this in my 96 if youd like pictures I can send you some it was a hole day project back seats are the worst front only took an hour or so.
