Second gen Motor mounts????

Does anyone sell or build any kind of super duty motor mounts for second gens or does the factury mounts hold up just fine??? ALso how about like straping or chaining the engineto the frame? It's a 2.8 puller. Any help would be great.
 
I think that if the mount cracked or broke, it was faulty, you don't have "too much power for the mounts." Theoretically, the block should crack before that mount breaks from stress. They are, however, known to crack, but the cause of that is age and harmonic vibration and long term stress...may that be known. Also... If anything should be done you should put some sort of 'outreger' mount to distribute the torque over the entire side of the block, rather than concentrated in one area....
 
Yea I had asked a few other pullers in the area and they are still using the factory mounts and no problems. I'm was just making sure that when I put the engine back in that I'm not forgetting to do something. Thanks Guys
