security system

bought a new to me late 01 truck that has the keyless entry with security system. i want to disable the security system and leave the keyless entry. i have pulled the security relay and it changed nothing is there something under the dash that can be unhooked or a fuse i see nothing marked.

According to the12volt.com, you ground a certain wire, here the info they have about wiring up an alarm in it

Factory Alarm Arm lt. green/orange - driver door harness
Notes: Arm is negative trigger thru a 644 ohm resistor. Disarm is negative trigger through a 1.5K (1500) ohm resistor. MUST use relays.
Factory Alarm Disarm same wire

I would think you ground that one wire since the aftermarket alarm would ground it when it gets armed
