Hey guys. I have a question about "mechanical boost foolers" and or, a MAP sensor boost fooler type of harness thingy. "Thingy" IS a technical term BTW. From what I have read, they sound a little different from one another. But it also sounds like they are both addressing the same issue. Defueling when too much boost is achieved, and or, setting off the SES light.
I'm just not sure what exactly is going on with my current setup. I am boosting to 34 psi and setting off the SES light now. Even with the SES light on, the boost is still holding 34 psi. So maybe defueling isn't taking place, but the SES light is annoying. Buuuuuuuut. If I get a tad more boost. That would be a bonus.
Any input is always greatly appreciated.
