hey guys

having issues with a new pump a got , pump is about 3 years old never on an engine till about 3 weeks ago , truck runs like a bag , the shop that i got it from said it won't be that , what do you guys think ?

If it sat for 3 years without running the b&p's as well as dv's are more than likely stuck or sticking. You'll need to either have the shop pull the holders and dv's out, then get everything worked loose without calibrating fluid, or if they are difficult to get along with you can do the same with clean diesel fuel and a little elcbow grease.
