shift lites, and recall tach's

if so how does it hook up?

seperate or with a tach of some description

Is there a recall and shift lite tach available? I would really like a shift lite

or adaptable?

I was thinking of this the other day....

Was looking at getting a stand alone light and figuring out what voltage teh signal to my tack is at a certian RPM then figuring out how to tricp the light at that voltage.

the tach is a frequency signal not voltage. enterprise engine has tach adapter boxes to convert the signals to work with std gasser tachs. just be careful with autometer tachs since they do not work well with 12valves. i have modified them before to work and told them what i did but they were not interested.

on a side note, you can use a frequency to voltage converter to make a poor mans shift light.

They look like they would work if you can get a tach signal anywhere.

i had to remove a capacitor off the board. the problem we had was it would work to about 3k then it would go nuts.
