First Real Help Post New To The Fourm. Ok here it goes. i need some new shocks and the truck has a lift but i dont know what size came with the truck when i bought it. is there a way to find out how big of lift i have? its a 01 dodge CTD extended cap auto 4x4. and also if you have time to think about my second problem that be awsome. i installed my edge juice and now i notice my fuel pressure at idle is 10 and when i get on it it goes down to as low as 0. what is that a sign of a lift pump or injector pump? i will be buying the 150GPH FASS asap. let me know if u got any ideas on both my issues that be awsome.
Thanks in advance
Russ

Lift pump is definitely going out. As far as the lift, put a picture up and we could probably tell ya. What size tires on it? Does it have new control arms? What color are the front springs?

ok dont know how to load a pic but i think i got in under my photos in profile. umm the front springs are red and so are the shocks so maybe tuff country. umm ill get back to u on the size tires and ill try to take a pic of the rear lift block. hope that will help.

Sounds like skyjacker. That's either a 4.5" lift or a 2" leveling kit but I'm not sure. The small tires throw me off. Measure from the bottom line of the door to the ground and let me know what that measurement is. I'm lifted 4.5" on 35's but it should give us a good idea.

Get the Part number off the front shocks also. That should give you an idea of the lift.

If it's skyjacker then I don't think they have a part number on them. Could be wrong though. It's been about 4 years since I installed mine.

ok well i tried lookin for a number prob is there rusted out. ill get a pic up to show u why i need to replace. but from the bottom of the door to the ground is almost 24inches. my tire size is 265/75

I'll measure mine here in the next couple of hours and let ya know.

Looks to me like a 2.5-4" lift, the stock size tires are kinda throwing me off though.

And here is his truck.

ok just took pics of the rear block and shocks in my photos take a look and were would i be able to buy 6 shocks i have 4 in front an 2 in rear. but got to figure out lift size lol.

i am goin to say it the 4" cuse there isnt any front leveling spacers and the rear springs and every thing looks stock to me

I measure 26.5" to the bottom of my door. I have 315/75 tires so that gives me 1.5 " more radius and I have 2" leveling springs from skykacker. I run stock shocks on my truck

Thanks alot ill try to get 6 new ones. are they hard to install never did one on a truck.

Nah. Incredibly easy. On the front there are 3 bolts holding the top of the shock tower on and the top shock mount goes through that. Undue those, un bolt the bottom shock bolt, and slide it out, reinstall. On the rear it's even easier.

10psi at idle and low as 0 at WOT is a sure sign that your lift pump is going out. If I were you, I wouldn't get on it until you get that FASS...Running your VP below 7psi is proven to cause premature wear and ultimately failure of the injection pump in the end...$.02

Wat FASS system u think i should get the 95 or the 150 they both cost the same so i was thinking of getting the 150. but wat u all think? oh and they wont let me buy 6 shocks i have to buy 8 wtf is that. anyone know were they will let me buy 6?

Call bilstein direct and I'll bet they can hook ya up with someone. The 95gph should support almost all of your power wants.
