what do yall think about a single stack in a short bed with a tool box? i need the tool box after havin it but would it look stupid just to slide it back?

If i get a stack should i get a 6" or 7" miter and i don't want it to stick much above the cab should i go 36" or 48"?

IMO a SWB truck with a 7" miter cut about 42" tall is perfect, I want to put an 8" on mine that is 44" tall.

Scooting the box back some is ok, you don't even really notice it...

Forget about using the bed if you slide it back.IMO The toolbox is the only reason I went with dual stacks, so I could notch it and not make my bed into 4ft.

anyone got any pics?

i don't haul much right now but i could take the box out if need be?

yeah but his is a long bed!! no offense or anything but i would like to see one on a shortbed with a tool box

me too but is it worth havin one with a shortbed and a tool box?

Get a chest toolbox...then put the stack NEXT to it....like I did. I'd post a pic, but my pics are too large. I can email them if your interested though. My truck even looks just like yours :D

If you don't pull a gooseneck i say dual stacks and tool box. You won't have enough room for a gooseneck with the stack and toolbox.

im sure i want a single if i do one but like i said i want my toolbox!! but the chest might be a good idea!!

heres a video. I build stack boxes here locally,{not the one in the video} and have sold a bunch, and run a few on my other trucks, but, have not put one of my boxes in my 98 shortbox yet since I got it, but have been thinking about it, I really dont know if I can stand to loose the room, but Im really leaning towards it after seeing this truck, looks good!
