Bought a short shift kit for my 05 cummins six speed used it one week and took it back off. Bought it for drag racing and now I'm into sled pulling no shifting required there haha. Paid $225 for it looking to get $180 for a pretty much new kit. Everything was put back in the box it came in with installation instructions. Will work in 5 or 6 speed tranny. Need it gone to buy some ddp 90 nozzles and a smarty. Will consider trades.
 
Correction this kit is for 2003-2005 NV5600 SIX SPEED only. From bd diesel.
 
I'm just going by the website. I'm guessing the shift ARM might be bent a little different or something in an 01?
