Guys there’s a pull near here coming up and I cant decided if I want to do it or not. Any advice on what I might want to attention to on the truck before the pull if I decided to do it. I know im going to use low range and just let the auto shift. Should I use the lockup switch? Oh and the trans has a billet input and output

I would crawl under it and just give everything a once over, u-joints, drive shafts, etc.. If you can have them a set of limiting blocks on the rear suspension, and a set of homemade traction bars. You may want to do something to limit the drive shaft from coming down out of the truck if you should break a u-joint. Check all your fluids, and grease everything you can. As far as any tips on the automatic, I don't know, but there are some really knowledgeable guys on here that pull with an auto that will probably chime in.-Nicholas
