Silverbullet vs s366

They both have the same 73.4mm turbine exducer. I highly dought II has any custom wheels

That's exactly what I'm saying, wheel dimensions are the same. I'm pretty sure the center sections are too, unless II uses only Borg wheels with their own center section, which I HIGHLY doubt as well. So other than the different housings, what else is different or better, to warrant a $2000 price tag? The warranty?

i was told that charger its a box charger for a silver bullet. i called about it and if i remeber right its not wastegated so you could run a external gate setup

or you could give htt 700 bucks for the 13 or 16 stainless gated housing and still be saving 700 from list price

i wonder if polishing the cover is that much? (700 dollars)

lol

guess you would also have to get a silicon 90° boot and do some plumbing too, since no stock elbow is gonna go on that turbo

ps - highly doubt ii makes their own center sections...prolly get em from borg warner just like everyone else. and they prolly buy more than 3 or 4 at a time....can you imagine how little they really have in one of those $2300 silver bullets? joke.

Yeah no kidding man, can you say PROFIT?! I got the plumbing covered no problem, just wanting to run another big single for now and later on get a 13ss for my 62 and build twins. Just didn't feel like shelling out $2000+ for one.

Most likely they're using that center section but giving you a bolt up turbine housing and compressor cover. Then the machine work needed on the bolt up turbine housing to fit the 74mm wheel cost is added in. I'm no II fan by any means, but $900 for a center section or cartridge from the link you posted is about $300 too high. I call it a 'cartridge because you still need to source a turbine housing and comp cover for a 'neat' bolt up job:lol:. Seen the price on wastegated t3 s300 turbine housings?

A 90 degree bend, a silicone boot, and a turbine housing flange to weld onto your existing downpipe is still cheaper than a wastegated housing, and would make for a neat install. Plus if you run an external you have more tunability options$.02
