i have a stock 06 cummins 6speed g56 and i never hooked up too a sled any1 out there that can give me advise:nail:

If you still have the stock clutch, I don't know that you could do much good. Maybe a second gear 4-Lo launch? You sure won't have any track speed though. I don't think a 3rd gear launch would go so well with the stock clutch.

I think with a light sled, you could pull off a 3rd gear launch in 4 low. The key with the stock clutch is to launch low in the rpm. Bring it up to around 1600rpm, come out on the clutch some and get moving just a little, and then mash the throttle and come off the clutch all the way at the same time. It may take it a second to get back up on the turbo, but it should do it unless the sled is real heavy. 2nd gear would be easy to do, but you wont have hardly any speed at all.

2nd gear rpm 2000 launch stay on throttle watch egts and Rpms for slippage you'd rather look like a rookie and drive home than call a friend for a tow
