Daves Diesel has a pro mod truck??:what: Thought the 2.8 was there biggest rig?

At Texas Rick's truck was running 3.0.

Well it says Scheids Pro Mod, so I'm thinking Kent Crowders truck correct? Daves Diesel has a cut tire pro mod truck? A pro mod truck is a truck like Kurt Haisleys, CAT truck, etc... Correct?

unlimted is mods class, pro mods is 3.2 twins or unlimted single there

This is the best the best thing I have ever seen on an event flyer!

Don't know, just was responding to the 2.8 stuff. I think Rick was running some twins on the truck at one time, but not for sure.

Ya thats where Im confused. Daves Diesel pro mod truck and Scheids Pro Mod truck. So Im guessing that would be Ingrams truck instead of Kents. Wonder why Brad would be their but not Kent?

Am I just complaining or is it "out there" to require U-joint shields in WS? I know its a safty thing but, WS is just that.. A daily street driven vehicle!

u-jiont shields

Am I just complaining or is it "out there" to require U-joint shields in WS? I know its a safty thing but, WS is just that.. A daily street driven vehicle!

at todays horse power even in ws there is a need for safty the u-jiont in the ankel at angola last year proved that.

I hope it's just a typo were it states under the hitch rules section for 2.8,2.6 &WS that bumpers may NOT be removed or notched. That will count out about 25-30% of all the trucks.

I'm with you Jared hope they answer so I know where to go Indy or Muncie don't know what would be wrong with a roll pan. Hope there just talking about not having a bumper at all. Don't know of to many trucks in the 2.8 class that still have a bumper. Jon

Hmm.. Still no answer. So either you show and get dq'ed. Or you show, they let it slide. And everyone that is legal is going to b!tch. Any answer NERDA?? Gonna leave them hanging and dq them when they get there? Or bend the rules for some?

The NHRDA is proud to announce that on June 5th at Oreilly Raceway Park the 4th Annual Jeramy Schmitt Memorial Drag Race.

The NHRDA will be on hand to support this event, and also will be donating part of the proceeds from the FASS Diesel Nationals on June 6th to the Jeramy Schmitt Memorial Scholarship fund.

Here is a brief description on event from father Tim Schmitt
Jeramy was a senior at Cathedral high school a college prep school in Indianapolis Indiana. Jeramy died during football practice on Sept. 20 2005 in front of his team mates , coaches and his younger brother Josh a sophomore who also is a football player. This happend one day before his 16Th birthday.

Jeramy loved football but drag racing was his true passion. Every Tuesday night he would be at the street legal drags at O'reilly raceway park with his 98 ram 2500 diesel truck taking on his friends in there mustangs, corvettes, civics and most of the time he would beat them.

Josh and I decided since Jeramy loved diesel drag racing so much we would turn his truck into a pro street drag truck and keep his memory alive and also start a Scholarship so young people have the opportunity to get a great education.

We are asking everyone in the diesel community to come out and support this event and help out a great cause.
