Anybody know of any venues that could support a large truck pull event, maybe some Drag Racing?

I do, but its on 1/8 mile track. They contacted about the dyno day I help put on. I wanted to see if out club could help promote a diesel day at there track.
I57 dragstrip is who it is.

There are several county fair grounds around that would handle the sled pull. I am on the fair board for Macoupin Co. I will see if the track is avalible.

Up here near Byron we have a couple of good tracks and Byron even has a 1/4 mile drag strip. But it probably is too far north.....

The track owner came over to me when I went there on friday night grudge race this fall. He said he had a new part of the grounds that will be solely 4x4 dirt drags no mud. He said he also wants to have a sled pull at some point but wants to spread things out and see how it progresses.

they told me the dirt track is 900ft long and could run side by side drags, and still have room for sled pulls on it too.. If the racers could sacrifice for 1/8 mile i say some one try to set it up

the tri city speed way in granite city might be big enough. i know that they have available weekends.
