Slicks V.S. Frame

How close can wide slicks get to the frame and still be safe? I know they don't baloon up quite like Top fuel dragsters....but still curious.

Looks like I will be cutting it close. Not far off the fender edge & the frame!

just in test fitting 3/4" on either side. Haven't actually put air in the tires yet.

33.5X16.5X16's As they sit from side wall to side wall its around 20" across.

I'm running with 1/2" clearance between the fender to tire and 1/2" clearance from tire to frame rail with no rubbing issues at 12psi and up. Haven't tested lower pressures because it wasn't needed.

Good to know. I just don't see how stuckey and them fit even wider slicks under their truck. I guess they are possible backhalfed.
