Just got to work and had a slipping tranny the last 2mi. Drove normal the first 15 miles, on and off the freeway came to a red-light after the offramp and when it turned green it barely moved. It's got a Bd tranny in it and usually pulls hard at a idle. Took abit of throttle to get moving, eased it up to 40mph slowly and threw the lockup switch and it was solid. To more stop signs, same thing and here I am, using my phone to post this. Checked the fluid, normal smell and full. WTF? Oh just refreshed the tranny last year, new clutches and input.

I'm hoping that with the sudden nature of the problem perhaps a solenoid or valve got some junk in it? I haven't replaced the filter since the rebuild I just realized, and the fluid level was on the high side, at the s bend of the dipstick, looking alittle foamy. I have also been having the lock-unlock issue sporadically but had assumed electrical noise was to blame. The check engine light has not gone off but I'll check for codes tonight. Will a bad pressure sensor or solenoid set a code?

And I just went and jumped in it, threw it in drive and it acted perfectly normal. Did I foam it this morning? Why would I have randomly had that happen? Or did I just have junk in a solenoid?

i guessing it would have to be, or maybe it got stuck in second or thrid gear some how.

If I was getting limp mode the engine wouldn't rev with little resistance with my tq?
