S06 is programmed to fit 03-07 5.9, and the s03 is programmed to fit in 03-04, or 04.5-07 5.9.. The s06 is more versatile..

Buddy of mine has a s04 on his 05, and he occasionally downloads it on his brothers 07 5.9.. It will not download on my 03.. His is a 610 engine though..
