OK Guys I have a guy with a 07' CR. With a Smarty/MP8 Stack. Built Tranny, Stock Turbo, injectors.

What setting on the Smarty would be best for the highest Dyno Number?

I know nothing about the Smarty Programmer so don't flame me!:banned::hehe:

sw9 all options 2. mp8, maybe turn it no more then a 3rd of the way, but ensure it's turned down just before the operator lifts off the throttle near the end of the run.

9,000 posts and you don't know anything about the smarty? jk.

start at sw9 and 30% on the mp8. If you have 23k in the rail or better, crank up the mp8 on the second run.
If you can't maintain rail pressure, drop to sw7. Keep dropping sw until you can maintain 23k. Play with the mp8 until you find what works for the truck. I've seen stock pumped trucks do better w/o stacking.

The last truck we dynoed with that stack had twins and dual cp3s and it was at sw9 and mp8 all the way up the, we tried off, 50%, and 100% and gained hp consistentley, we gained 78hp total with just the mp8 which brought us up to 868hp! Good luck!

I know jlibert has definatley been around alot of dynoing of the common rails so his advice should be pretty accurate.

RP-1 typically yeilds slightly better numbers when stacking with a pressure box.

Yeah, I suppose if the mp8 is designed to work off of the stock rail ramp rate, sure. but I'm sure Marco designed the "#2" ramp rate to work with this software better then the stock curve.

ARgh, stacking sucks.

On 99% of the trucks that we dyno with a pressure box stack always make slightly more power with Smarty RP-1 than on any other RP setting.

Of course these HP gains are with the correction factor...Uncorrected.:hehe:

Better go apply the Jason-SAE-Correction-Factor.... I can make that truck run at 864HP if you dyno by my rules.

Funny you mention that...if I add the Beans correction factor policy to my truck...689x1.13= 778HP....right up there with you, guess your number isint so bad.

But thats with 90hp stix and a Stg 3 pump.:hehe:
