smarty or comp

Go with a Edge Comp for good power, some fun smoke for a newbie and good on the fly adjustability.

i got the comp on my truck now. and it makes good power. i have heard dude in the 500HP range with them. i like mine alot. smoke it sentertaining when u want it and it really wakes the truck up.
 
Comp puts out more HP and Smoke...

But I have both on my truck.... Smarty has WAY more options... but doesn't tap the pump wire, so less power...
 
Now I know when you all had your first diesel and wanted to start modding it you wanted that thing to smoke some. It's just the first stage of liking these diesel trucks. I remember when I had my first one.
 
It's entertaining to see the expressions and reactions you get out of people when you block traffic with a black cloud.
 
The Edge Comp will make more hp (about twice as much). The new Smarty Revo for the 24V makes driveability a blast. Very good throttle response.

Personally as far as smoke goes, I like my trucks to go as fast as possible without smoke. I like the sleeper look. Lots of power, and no smoke, makes people wonder how you just left them in the dust. This is especially true with other diesel pickups.

Exactly, We were all young at one point and wanted our first diesel to smoke like a train. We as veterans don't care for smoke that much anymore but who are we to trash talk the thought to a new guy or girl that wants some smoke.

Me personally I would get the edge first and have fun with it and then when you start to get bored with it get the smarty and start having fun once again.

I know I did. I still like having smoke available when I see the tailgaters creeping up. Its still fun to watch them slam their brakes & back off me.:hehe: Other than that, I try to be clean.
 
Smoke is so much fun till you have to clean it off your rear 1/4 panels every day, then it's not so cool!!!:hehe:
