I have a friend of a friend who will sell me a smarty for $100 so I really want to take advantage of it. However, it is off an 02 and my truck is a 99. I don't think the smarty taps the injection pump wires so does it matter what year it is used on like it does with the edge? I don't know as much about smarty as I do edge so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
