Alright I got a 99 24v and i looking for a little more power. Truck is mainly stock except for the VP44. I have the 100hp hot rod injection pump from industrial injection. The transmission, suncoast valve body with a billet single disk converter. I no that both programmers are good but i also want to keep my transmission in one piece. So let me no what you would do say if it where your truck?

Yeah thats what most people where telling me, and that the smarty has a lot more stages to play around with. I just dont want to hurt my tranny

Your going to want something more than the DDRP. It is only really good for stock trucks.
 
The edge you will find a much larger gain with. Make sure you have constant pressure to that pump whether your at wot or idle 22-23psi
 
I have tested both on my truck on the dyno, with a scheid lightening pump, not II's but similar. The gains with either are kind of minimal, but there really isn't much with just the smarty. Only expect a few hp gain from a smarty, maybe 10-15, and with the drag box, there was about 45-50. A standard comp box should be closer to 30-40hp gain with that pump.

Yeah i'm not looking to go crazy on power right now. Just wanted a little more to have fun with until summer when u start making money
